With over 70 films under his belt, including block buster hits such as Pearl Harbor, Seven Years in Tibet, and Rising Sun, Mako embraces, what he considers, a powerful role in the movie CAGES. Playing a Singaporean (Tan), Mako finds a strong purpose, as the leading man, in a role that allows him to communicate a message that emphasizes great significance in the love of family, the importance of relationships, and the consequences that comes from the neglect of both.
