Reflecting...In the midst of madness
09/15/04
The closest thing we get to reflecting while shooting this film is a piece of silk or poly foam board to create a pool of light an actor's face. No light is shed on us, the team. No time to reflect ourselves. We just need to plow through the days to get the best possible results. That being said, it means so much to get letters from friends. Thanks for being part of the journey. Thanks for your words of support. Thanks for your interest.
Dear Graham and the Cages Team,
I met Oprah Winfrey on Saturday night and she took about 10 minutes of her time to talk to me about the importance of the intention behind the things we undertake, the laws of cause and effect and how we must use our personalities (that are our soul’s tools of expression in the world) to navigate through the experiences of our lives despite what other people say or do in order to fulfill our life’s purpose. It was an incredibly powerful message and gift that she gave me. Yet, how amazing that a close friend of mine has been acting this out before my very eyes for the past four years.
Thank you for sharing your journey with those of us at home who have been keeping you in our prayers and for finishing what you set out to do.
With my utmost respect and love,
Tina Treadwell

Dear Graham and everyone at CAGES,
Greeting from HOT Los Angeles. We are following the saga of the filming of "Cages" with eager anticipation. From what we have seen on the website, the film looks beautiful, just as Graham imagined.
We really enjoyed the beautiful writing from Bobby Tonelli posted on the "Cages" website, today.
It was very touching and deeply moving.
I have VERY good feelings about "Cages" these days. My best personal regards to you, Graham, the actors and crew.

Love and hugs from the BCC. I just read everything on your web site. You must be thrilled, but exhausted!!! Will you stay in Singapore for all the editing? If you are coming home, please keep in touch. I can't wait to see the finished product.
It is, (you, of course), so sweet of you to keep us informed as the film develops. It looks absolutely magnificent!!
Please give our love to all our friends over there and come home safely, whenever that is!!
