The Sunday Harvest

I came to CAGES' production office at 4pm today to brainstorm with Tania and Graham some proposals we have been working on and ended up witnessing a bountiful harvest of birdcages brought to us by our angels – Christel, Vivienna and Jessie. Since morning, they have been visiting bird shops and pleading with the owners to release some cages to be used as our props. Their hard work resulted in a collection of cages in a wide range of sizes, designs and materials.
The dedication and commitment shown by our angels touched my heart. They sacrificed their Sunday to contribute their bit to make this a successful project. I hope that they can see the light at the end of the tunnel, the vision of the project. Their contribution goes a long way to promoting the song-birding cultural heritage long associated with Singapore and the community in this region through this wonderful movie.
Throughout my few weeks among the CAGES team, I have sensed intense passion demonstrated by the team members. Perhaps such reinforced intense passion that has been motivating the team is the key success ingredient for this project. For that, I am proud and honored to be part of the CAGES team.
Great job team, you have done wonderful jobs!
