Zelda Resting 09/17/04

Okay, we are all busy working. Even Zelda Rubinstein, who plays LIZ in the film takes some time to chat with new friend El Jin.

Zelda is 70+ years old, and the help of an assistant has been greatly appreciated. Zelda needs extra help in walking up stairs, long distance walking, and enjoys the close proximity of a fan when locked up in the stuff confinement of Hoot Kiam.

El Jin is hearing impaired. It makes for an interesting duo, because Zelda is no stranger to the "Theatre for the Deaf". They find lots to talk about. Zelda speaks in her unusually soft voice over the clamour of production. Most people would say..."what?" El Jin reads lips. He just smiles and repies back, not missing a word. He reads lips.
